Online Therapy for High-Achieving
Women in Denver
a place for women to dump perfectionism and embrace radical self-compassion
Do you wake up most mornings and immediately feel the weight of the world on your shoulders?
You feel like you have to be so many things to so many people in your life.
Did I send that email?
Is it a field-trip day for the kids?
When’s the last time I called my mom?
So maybe you reach for your phone instead. Numb out before the day has even really started? It’s like you need your mind to be busy and your hands to be occupied at all times, but as a result you’re tired and feel a lack of purpose.
Being human is incredibly challenging.
Being a woman isn’t a cake-walk either.
You’re riddled with “shoulds”:
I should put my phone down.
I should get some exercise.
I should be more grateful.
I should be less anxious.
But it feels like if you let one thing slip, the whole world
will blame you.
You’ve got a job that’s fine.
Relationships that are fine.
But when you stop long enough to examine your own life,
you think:
I thought it would all be more beautiful than this?
Like, you would’ve hoped, that at this point in your life you’d feel more peace and joy; but actually you feel pretty lost, out-of-touch with your own body, like you’re just going through the motions to meet other people’s expectations?
You spend your days at-war with the harsh critic in your head who chants:
Not good enough.
Not good enough.
Not good enough.
This sucks.
I hate this for you.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Healing is possible.
And therapy can help.
Hi. My name is Heather.
I am a psychotherapist specializing in working with women who know
that they are meant for more than this.
They want clarity.
They want abundance.
They want a co-conspirator to help them heal from wounds and limiting beliefs
that cause them to put their own wants and needs on the back burner.
They want to stop doubting themselves so they can feel confident
in their own bodies.
They want to move past the traumas that have made them feel
anxious and hopeless.
I help women heal from trauma and cultivate the
most beautiful lives they can imagine for themselves.
I am a feminist, somatically-oriented therapist who is trained in EMDR.
My therapeutic approach is aimed at helping you feel more at-home in your body and your life.
Because fully-embodied women are the collective force that has—and will—change the world.
I’m here for it.

Research shows that online (or "telehealth" or "virtual") therapy has identical outcomes to in-person therapy. Similarly, EMDR is just as effective online as it is in-person. Online therapy is convenient, not dependent on weather or transportation. It's a win-win.

The answer is up to you! It depends on your goals for treatment and how long therapy continues to feel helpful for you.
For trauma-specific treatment, the answer to this question ranges from 6 sessions to several years depending on presenting issue, severity of symptoms, and frequency of therapy sessions. Someone with a single-incident trauma (such as a car accident) may feel symptom relief after 1-2 EMDR processing sessions. However, the more complex and chronic in nature, the longer treatment can take.
However, every traumatic memory we process often leads to more and more trauma relief quite quickly, especially with the right therapist fit and good communication about your goals and ongoing experience in therapy.
